On the evening of Monday July 6, 2015, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Bob Jim Pierce, 81, slipped into eternal rest.  Bob was born in Windsor, North Carolina and retired from the Newport News Shipyard where he was employed as a Burner. Mr. Pierce leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 28 years, Virginia; one daughter, Becky Davis; two step daughters, Pam Foster and her husband Steve and Mona Babb and her husband Greg; one stepson, Rick Hilton; 21grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a legion of family and friends.
