Curtis R. Gautier, Sr.
Chesapeake – Curtis Randel Gautier, Sr., 76 died August 27, 2015. Mr. Gautier was born in Faison, NC to the late Jasper and Rosa Mae Hare Gautier. He enjoyed working as an engineer on a tug boat and tinkering in his workshop.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 54 years, Catherine Gautier; children, Andrew and Curtis R. Gautier, Jr. of Chesapeake; siblings, Jasper Gautier of Wayne Co., NC, Fuzzy Gautier of Mt Olive, NC, Pauline King and Gladys Creech of Wayne Co., NC; grandson, Chris Gautier and his wife Stacey of Chesapeake; and great grandchildren, Christina and Joshua.
The family will receive friends at Altmeyer Funeral Home on Saturday from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm; A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with burial following at Riverside Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.altmeyer.com.
