My Grandmother called George “Gene” so we always referred to him as Uncle Gene, Later we found out that Aunt Nancy didn’t like using that name. No matter what name we called him we loved him just as much. Rest in peace with your wife and siblings.
Love you

I served under Captain O’Brien at OPNAV in Washington in the early 1980’s. He was a fine gentleman, a great leader and it was a pleasure to serve with him.
