I’m so sorry we missed Hassel’s service. He was a very sweet man and I know he will be missed by his family. I wish we had know about this sooner we would have been there.

I love sweet Brother Farmer. He was the first person to pick me up on the bus for Azalea Garden Christian School. We became fast friends and stayed close over the years. I would bring my children over to his apartment to visit him, and we even spent a Christmas dinner or two together. I will cherish our time together. I will see you again one day, Bro. Farmer! Love you!

What a wonderful example of a Godly man! He walked the talk and talked the walk, and now with Jesus wearing his crown!! He made Azalea Garden Church & School a better place and made a difference in the world for the Glory of God. To his precious family, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Our condolences to all the family on the passing of this dear man. I have always smiled whenever I have thought of Hassel—he didn’t pass up too many opportunities to poke a little fun at a friend! I know he now rejoices in the presence of His Lord.

May Brother Farmer forever Rest In Peace with God in Heaven above. He was one of my favorite people at azalea when I was in school- always had something funny to say, and he will never be forgotten.

Brother Farmer was a man I looked up to at Azalea Gardens Church in Norfolk. A friend, and EXAMPLE to my family, and loved deeply by us. Sister Farmer, Kathy, and Joann, we are so sorry for your loss, and you are in our prayers… love you!
