Johnny Klotz, 89, passed peacefully in his daughter’s home the morning of January 30, 2018. Johnny enjoyed fishing, walking in fields and woods and growing vegetables, shrubs and trees. He was a quiet man, who enjoyed southern cooking and good bluegrass music but acquired the humorous handle among some of the 1960’s children of Moyock as the “3M Man” or “meanest man in Moyock”. He was a WWII veteran in the Merchant Marines and retired longshoreman from Local 970. He’ll be missed by many friends and family. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Audrey Klotz and a sister, Florence Krzemien. Surviving Johnny are his two children, James Klotz (and wife, Becky) and Elayne Martin (and fiancé, Hugo Lee), brother, Billy Klotz and a sister, Miriam Grazio as well as several nieces and nephews. Johnny requested no service be held. His ashes will be cast among places in nature that he loved in life. From his children: “Shine on, Pop.”
