Norfolk – Lise M. Briggs went to join her loving husband, George on October 25, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. Born in Canada, she moved to upstate New York in 1966 to raise her family. After 20 years of working for SEDC she retired to become a fulltime grandma. After her husband over 43 years passed away in 2008 she moved to Norfolk to get away from the snow. She was a loving mother to George Jr., his wife Tanya, and also to her daughter Michelle and her husband Lou. The joys of her life were her grandchildren, Taylor, Kaila, Brooke and Parker. She loved spending time with them whether it was Christmas at Disney or seeing a Broadway show. She will be missed by all who knew her because of her big heart and her great sense of humor.
Services will be held November 3 at 11am at Blessed Sacrament Church in Norfolk, VA
