Margaret Adams Watts, 100 of Charlottesville died Monday, May 2nd, 2016. She was a long time resident of Virginia Beach. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Watts, Jr. and her daughter Catherine T. Gilman.
She is survived by her son, Lin Watts and his wife Cynthia of Keswick, VA, 5 grandchildren, Steven Gilman and his wife Susan of Virginia Beach, Scott Gilman and his wife Amy of Norfolk, Lindsay Watts of Denver, CO, Hunter Watts of Charlottesville and Grant Watts also of Charlottesville. She was also a great grandmother to Brittani Rudi of Arlington, VA and a great, great grandmother to her sons Van and Zak.
Her family and most importantly her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was an avid gardener, reader and card player. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed many hours in her porch and garden.
The family offers thanks to Blue Ridge Pace and Hospice of the Piedmont for their dedicated care.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 6th at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 8100 Granby Street, Norfolk, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Margaret’s name may be made to Blue Ridge Pace, 1335 Carlton Avenue, Charlottesville, VA 22902.
