Melissa Haywood

January 19, 1990 - January 22, 2018

01/19/1990 - 01/22/2018

Melissa Ann Haywood, of Virginia Beach, left this World and became an Angel on January 22, 2018, at the age of 28 years. She was preceded in death by her doting father Robert Scott Haywood.

Melissa leaves behind her mother, Cynthia Haywood; her brother, Robert “Robbo” Daniel Haywood; her grandmother Carolyn and her husband Earl “Mac” Woodard; her boyfriend DArrin Tucker; and many, many friends and family members who will miss her loving smile. Melissa enjoyed painting, and art with her grandmother, bowling, football, and hanging out with her many close friends. There are no words that can express how much she will be missed by everyone. Her light may be extinguished but the love she gave will keep her light alive in all of us forever.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Altmeyer Funeral Home-Maestas Chapel (1801 Baltic Ave. Virginia Beach, VA) at 11:00 AM.

Wow I can’t even believe this news. I remember back in middle school when you used to call my house phone all the time and we would talk for hours. You truly will be missed

Cindy and family, Melissa looked just like you when you were young. She was a beautiful woman. I know that this must be extremely hard after just losing Scott not too long ago. May God give you comfort during this great time of sorrow and loss.
Love, Uncle Al and Aunt Pat
