Our Shadowlawn community will certainly miss Ruth. Her bubbly, feisty personality was such a joy to experience. We fondly remember her driving around in her “hot” red Mustang while in her 80’s. Age never seemed to slow her down or diminish her zest for life. We mourn her passing but rejoice that we had the opportunity to share a small part of her life.

I lived across the street from Mrs. Price from the day I was born until I got married and my husband and I would always make it a point to go by and see her, she was like another mother to me. She was a great person and even in her 80’s was always full of life. She will surely be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

I remember Ruth and Alvin visiting my Nannie Whites home, she was the life of the party! She would tell stories about shopping and family and hiding shopping bags from Alvin. She always remembered me when we saw each other in Walmart. Ruth was a beautiful lady inside and out and always dressed to impress!! Beautiful lady!!
