VIRGINIA BEACH – Nancy Jean Hudgins Lintz, 76, went to be with the Lord, December 18, 2015. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Calvin and Lela Dorothy Hudgins. She was an ordained pastor and associate of Bobbit Hall Ministries. Nancy loved music. She was gifted with a beautiful voice and played the piano and performed for many churches and for special occasions. She was also a past president of the B. J. Thomas Fan Club. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and providing them with love and encouragement.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Billy Carfagno of MO, Kathy Dority and husband, Gary of NY, Nancy Traiteur of IL, Allen Carfagno of Fl, Warren Carfagno of Virginia Beach, David Lintz, Jr. and wife Katherine of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by two sisters, Ruth Sims of Ashburn, Virginia and Lynn Hughes of Chesapeake, VA. Special friend and caregiver, Bill Robertson; special great granddaughter, Lilly Lintz; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and many devoted friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel with a life celebration service immediately following. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made for a scholarship fund for Lilly Lintz, c/o www.tmcfunding. com. Nancy was a most caring person, she was ready with prayers and blessings even when she was feeling bad herself. Nancy is surely in heaven and smiling on us with blessings for all. Rest in peace Nancy, Joe and Clare Gloria
