Phillip O. Clarke, Sr., 71, passed away April 19, 2016. He was a Navy veteran, serving in Vietnam from 1963-1967. Phil had a passion for helping people and became a substance abuse counselor, while doing so he counseled many people through a difficult time in their life.
He is preceded in death by his grandson Phillip Clarke, III. Phil is survived by his wife Krystal Clarke; sons Phillip Clarke, II (Tina), and Christian Clarke; daughter Charlene Clarke Houck; grandchildren Phillip Clarke, IV and Catherine, Dakota Camby and Cierra, Miranda Clarke; great grandchildren Noah Camby and Baby Clarke arriving October 2016; sister Barbara Noyse; and brothers Christopher Hocquard and Michael Hocquard.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 1pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Denbigh Chapel, 12893 Jefferson Ave. Newport News. Contributions to assist the family may be made at www.tmcfunding.com.
