Racquel Dollete McCarthy (38) of Virginia Beach, VA passed away in New York City.  Although Racquel was called home far too early, she left this world with true love for her family, friends and most of all an overwhelming love for her daughter Esmere. Racquel will always be remembered for her easy-going nature and great sense of humor.  As part of a close-knit family, she will be greatly missed.
Racquel was one of seven children born to the late John P. and Natividad McCarthy (formerly of Virginia Beach, VA). She is preceded in death by her brothers William and Christopher McCarthy, as well as her niece Ava McCarthy.
Racquel is survived by her daughter Esmere Brianna Litz, her brothers Danilo McCarthy, Allan and wife Amy McCarthy, John P. and wife Alicia McCarthy all of whom reside in Virginia Beach, VA. She has a sister Jennifer D. Harrell and husband Adam of Jacksonville, NC; an uncle William McCarthy and wife Catherine of Arlington, MA. She has 3 nieces Hannah, Olivia, and Nora McCarthy and 4 nephews Austyn and William Harrell; Nolan and Christopher McCarthy. She is also survived by her uncles Pio, Leopoldo, Juanito and Aunt Ida Dollete all of whom reside in the Philippines.  She is also survived by several cousins.  Services will be private.
