Terry Exum Nobles, of Virginia Beach, entered Eternal Life on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the age of 76 years. He was born on October 26, 1940 in Kinston, NC, to George Nobles and Josephine Smith Nobles. Terry worked for many years for the City of Norfolk assisting in their recreation department. He loved his wife, family, and watching Nascar races. He was a member of Azalea Garden Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Clayton, and one son.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Brenda McClenny Nobles; son Mark and his wife Suzan; daughter Rebekah Jones and her husband Scott; grandchildren Kendall, Brittney, and Matthew; great-grandchildren Jackson, Roscoe, Alex, and Ella. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Terry will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Altmeyer Funeral Home-Southside Chapel (5792 Greenwich Rd. Virginia Beach) from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Azalea Garden Church (1541 Centerville Turnpike Virginia Beach, VA) at 11:00 AM. Private burial at a later date at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, VA. The Altmeyer Funeral Home-Southside Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
