William Ray "Bill" Harmon

February 7, 1947 - September 22, 2017

William “Bill” Ray Harmon, 70, of Virginia Beach passed away on September 22, 2017 at home with his family. Born in Christiansburg, Virginia to the late Charlie and Annie Harmon.

Preceded in death by his brother Charles Hasel Harmon.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 40 wonderful years, Rosemary Harmon; son, Mark Harmon of Virginia Beach; sisters, Barbara Edwards and husband Warner, Iva Morgan and husband Gene; brother, Wade Harmon and wife Nancy; nieces and nephews, lots more family and friends.

Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army from (67-70) during the Vietnam War. He retired from Hoffman Beverage in 2013 as Draft Manager. Bill was a lifelong LA Dodgers and Rams Fan.

The family wants to thank Virginia Oncology Associates, Dr. Valiant Tan, Aimee Gannon P.A., Pam Smith, Dr. Wylie Zhu, Dr. Bethany Tan and Kindred Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that all contributions be made to the Food Bank of SE Virginia.

At Bill’s request, there will be no services.
