Woodley Jacques "Woodie" Boisvert

NORFOLK- Woodley Jacques Boisvert, 69, passed away on November 6, 2015.

He was born in Rockwood, TN to the late Clayton and Oakley Boisvert. Woodie was the Owner and Operator for Woodie’s Plumbing. Woodie served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Police Association where he served as a chaplain.

Woodie is survived by his wife Dolores J. Boisvert, son, Mark Boisvert; daughter, Stacy Bravo and husband Crisostomo; two step-daughters, Cynthia St. Pierre and her children and Susan Yappo and her children; four grandchildren, Dejuan, Isaac, Isabella and Eli; and a half-brother James Richard Cooper.

The visitation will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Rd. Va. Beach on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 11:00am with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
