We had the privilege of knowing and working with Garland at Altmeyer Funeral Home. He was always a gentleman in every respect and it was a pleasure to know and work with him. Our hearts are saddened to learn of Garland’s passing, and our deepest sympathy to Ann and the family. We pray that God will comfort them as they grieve the loss of one so dear.

Uncle Garland made sure the pool was ready every summer when we were kids. We had to be careful not to cut the pool liner so there was only limited craziness during the pool volleyball games. I have many great memories being in Virginia and Uncle Garland is in most of them.
