Alice Colucci passed away on May 22, 2021 in Virginia Beach, Virginia surrounded by her loving family and friends.  Alice was born March 26, 1929 to George and Laurina Vissichelli in Queens, New York.  She was a graduate of John Adams High School in New York City.
Alice met the love of her life, Joseph Colucci by way of a friend who worked with her at the switchboard at AT&T while he was active duty in the Navy; they married on October 26, 1946, bringing forth three children, George, Paula, and Karen.  Alice attended many Food Service and Executive Management Seminars and was both Food Service Director and District Managers of Food Service for ARA in New York, and Tidewater Macke and Ogden Food Service in Norfolk, Virginia.  She cooked the most delicious Italian food and always made more food than everyone could eat.   Alice was a devout Catholic who prayed the rosary every night.  Alice loved music and she loved to dance, play bingo and attend weekly Art Therapy class creating beautiful pictures and crafts. 
In addition to being predeceased by her parents, Alice was predeceased by her husband Joseph and her three brothers Joseph, Edward and George.  
Left to cherish her memory are three children, George and his wife Bonnie, Paula and her husband Larry and daughter Karen; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and two sisters, Dolores and Lorraine. 
A celebration of life will be held in her honor from 1pm to 7pm on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at her daughter’s home, 617 Washington Drive, Chesapeake, Virginia 23322.  In lieu of flowers, please CLICK HERE to make contributions to Alzheimer’s Association in Alice’s name or plant a memorial tree at Legacy.com in Alice’s honor.  Condolences may be left for the family below.

Alice was a very kind and loving friend, I enjoyed her dancing even when she danced while singing. I truly will miss her smile and the hugs. I miss you Alice love you!
