September 5, 1940 - January 4, 2020

NORFOLK – Alice Lapre Parrish, 79, died January 4, 2020.  Alice was born in Massachusetts to the late Roger and Gladys Ciempa Lapre.  She was a member of Victory Worship International and an avid thrift store shopper.  Even though Alice had been confined to a bed for over 8 months due to her illness, she still managed to remain in high spirts and continued to encourage others in need.  Alice was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Lapre.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 42 years, Everett C. Parrish; children, Tim Parrish (Donna) of Harrisonburg, VA, Loretta Riddle (Barry) of Norfolk, Theresa Pergerson (Charles) of Chesterfield, VA, Sharon Glasscock (Philip) of Colonial Heights, VA, Roger-Chip Mathias (Marsha) of Waynesboro, VA and Tony Mathias of Pensacola, FL; siblings, Shirley Pearson of San Diego, CA, Janet Williams of Perkinsville, VT, and Richard Lapre of Granville, NY; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

A celebration service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00 am at Victory Worship International, 3520 John St., Norfolk, VA 23513.  Burial services will be held in Vermont at a later date.  Express condolences to the family below.
