Angela Victoria Ellsworth

November 17, 1959 - August 19, 2020

Angela Victoria Ellsworth (LaCosa), 60, of Virginia Beach Virginia, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, entered Eternal rest on Wednesday, August 19, 2020.

A native of Brooklyn New York, she made a home for her and her children in Virginia Beach many years ago.  In 1986, she married the love of her life, Harvey. Angela and Harvey celebrated 34 years of marriage in March 2020. They enjoy traveling around the world and had many funny stories to tell! Angela cherished her children and grandchildren and would do anything for them. She was a lover of all animals and had many fur babies throughout her life. Angela was a strong, independent, and determined woman. It seemed there was almost nothing she couldn’t do! She was always up for a good time and she loved to laugh!

A Business Systems Analyst, she recently retired from Sentara Healthcare, where she was well loved and respected.

She is survived by her son, Paul (Christina); daughters, Valerie (Jason) & Stephanie; grandchildren, Sydney, Nicolas, Danielle, Joseph, Michael Trae, and baby Marianna to arrive in September.
She is predeceased by her husband, Harvey; her parents, Anthony and Rose; along with her brothers, Joey and Anthony.

A public memorial service for all will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home – Maestas Chapel, 1801 Baltic Ave, Virginia Beach, Virginia on Saturday, August 29th, 2020 at 1:00 PM.  A reception will follow.
