Annlee Kendrick Edwards, 77, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away at home on Sunday, July 21st. Born in Brooklyn NY on August 29, 1941 she is predeceased by her parents, James and Margaret Kendrick and her youngest sister, Mary Peterson. Left to cherish Anne’s memory is her daughter Laura (John) and her son Doug (Mary Ellen), her sister Joan (Mike), her grandsons Josh, Clark, Austin, Alex and Mike, her sister in law Susie (Jerry), her brother in law Jerry (Gaye) and her nieces Kathi and Rachel, nephews Mike, Steven and Greg and her great niece Samantha and great nephews Adison, Michael and Danny.
Anne enjoyed an impressive life and instilled in her family the importance of experiences. She lived in Garden City, New York, Westwood, California and Montreal and Lac Marois Canada growing up. She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan College in 1963. She was married 23 years and raised her family in Virginia Beach. Her biggest passions were traveling and cooking. She cared about people around the world as well as family and friends. She loved helping others grow. Anne was active in Girls Scouts as a scout and later as a leader. She enjoyed hosting exchange students from many different countries. She taught computer classes and was proud of owning her own catering company, Time Savers, for 17 years.
Her family would like to thank Sentara Windermere, Sentara Hospice and FamilyCare Senior Solutions for the loving care she received. We would also like to thank Joleen, Willa, Mary and Henry, Rosemary, Player, Robin, Susie, her lunch bunch, the Fabulous Fifty Something Women, Jack and It’s Never 2 Late, Francis and CDVTA of Cameroon, and not in the least Laura’s friends. We are forever grateful for the tremendous help, prayers, support and love.

A Celebration of her Life will take place Saturday, August 24th at 3PM at Virginia Beach Christian Church 2225 Rose Hall Dr Virginia Beach, VA 23454. Dress is casual. Hope Springs Eternal!
