Arnim Rudolph “Taz” Barclay died peacefully on Friday January 25, 2019 at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA at the age of 69.

Arnim is lovingly remembered, and survived by his wife, Margaret Barclay; three children, Nicole M. Barclay-Boson of Virginia Beach, VA, Karen P. Barclay-Baptiste (Rubens) of Brooklyn, NY, Renee A. Lloyd (Maher) of Brooklyn, NY; grandchildren, Elijah P. Boson, Isaac A. Boson, Nia I. Boson, Olivia C. Baptiste, Amelia S. Baptiste, R. Jeremy Baptiste, and Nathanael M. Lloyd; siblings, Terence Guy, Clive Guy, Allison Joseph-Patrick, and Allison ‘Pansy’ Questel; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Victor Barclay; mother Daphne V. Joseph; sister, Alicia Joseph; and brothers, Winston Barclay and Cedric Barclay.

A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, January 31st @ 1 p.m. in the Southside Chapel at Altmeyer Funeral Homes with a reception to follow at the same location. Bishop Dr. John Allsop will officiate the ceremony. Flowers can be sent to Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, 5033 Rouse Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
