Ashlee Donielle Busby, age 35, of Norfolk, passed away on October 19, 2020. She was born on May 19, 1985 to Donald Lee Busby, Jr. and Johanne Leslie (formerly Hewitt) Busby in Norfolk VA. She was a loyal friend, center of her family, and always was there for them, especially her siblings. She will be truly and dearly missed as a kind and wonderful person. 

Left to cherish her memory are her parents; children Isaiah and Jayden; siblings Joshua Lee Busby, Lindsay Nicole Busby, and Hanna Leslie Busby; niece Amara; grandparents, “Gaga” Donald and “Nana” Dianne Busby, “Nannie” Dottie and Bill Bliven; aunts “Sissy” Danielle Busby-Gilbert, Christine White, Francine Baillie, and Aunt Gina Maynard; cousin Daniel Betor III and other cousins. Further survived by other relatives and friends. 

Ashlee was preceded in death by her great-grandmother “Mammaw” Dorothy Grace Maynard; great-grandfather John Maynard; grandfather Frank Hewitt; and great uncle “Papoo” Danny Betor. 

Visitation for Ashlee will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020  at Altmeyer Funeral Home-Southside Chapel, 5033 Rouse Dr. Virginia Beach, VA from 12:00 PM  until time of Funeral Service at 3:00 PM.
