Banjamin A. Sablan Sr.

Benjamin Augustine Sablan Sr. passed away Thursday, October 5^th, at his home in Blackstone, Virginia and is now with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Esther June, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. His son, Benjamin Jr. (Marsha), and children, Alexander and Aidan; daughter, Rosa (Matthew) and children, Seth (Amanda) and child Lyla, Morgan and Kaitlyn; son, Josef (Citadel), and children, Odyssey, Zachary, Joshua and Alexis; son, Anthony (Mary Jane), and children, Jasmine, Roman and Ryker; son Erik (Rebecca), and children, Jackson and Evelyn.  Also survived by his brothers, Arthur (June) Sablan of Long Beach, CA and John (Lillian) Sablan of Milwaukee, WI, as well as brothers and sister Tony, Bernard, Charlie, David and Eva San Nicolas.  In addition, Ben is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A closed casket visistation will be held Tuesday, October 10^th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home at 5792 Greenwich Road in Virginia Beach.  The funeral mass will be Wednesday, October 11^th, at 10:00 am at St. Gregory the Great Church at 5345 Virginia Beach Blvd. in Virginia Beach.  He will be laid to rest following the mass at Woodlawn Memorial Garden at 6309 E Virginia Beach Blvd. in Norfolk at 11:15am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Hospital or Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters (CHKD).
