Barbara Perusse

Barbara Mary Perusse, loving mother and grandmother, age 88, passed away peacefully January 23, 2021. She was born June 7, 1932 in Warsaw, New York to Raymond and Mary Klein. She married Robert Edward Perusse June 29, 1957 who preceded her in death in December 2018.
Barbara was a devout Catholic and attended daily mass and brought her children up knowing the confounding joy of her faith and love. She loved reading, art and gardening.
Her life was a living example of the Bible verse, 1 Corinthians 13 Vs 4-7 —Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, it is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Barbara is survived by her sister Patricia Burton and husband Richard, Brother Edward Klein and wife Judith, brother-n-law Henry Steigleder; children and spouses Mark and Connie Perusse, Kevin and Julie Perusse, Simone Perusse, Karen and Luther Johansen, Brenda and Garner Lowe, Colleen Heffern- Perusse, Patrick and Amy Perusse, Nanette Perusse and Patrick Budowski; grandchildren Erol and his wife, Sarah, Alev, Derya, Jeffrey, Kristen, Kara, Michael, Aaron, Brendan, Justine, Rhianne, Cedric , Avery, Isabella, Quinn, Scarlett, Ryan, Tate, Aiden, Allison, Caitlin, Justin, Patrick, Leonie, Gene, Matthew, Luke and his wife Amanda, Mackenzie, Laurel, Joel and Sophia; great granddaughter Addie.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Perusse; son Scott Perusse; sister Dorothy Steigleder; nephews Steven Steigleder and Michael Steigleder.
There will be a funeral mass at St. Joseph’s Church in Odenton Maryland on February 4, 2021 at 10am. Her final resting place will be at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
