VIRGINIA BEACH- Bernadette Anne Laramay 87, born July 29, 1934 in Santa Clara, New York. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Catherine Susice.  She passed away quietly in her daughter’s home.  Bernadette had been an active member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Virginia Beach.  Her true passion and love was caring for her family and any time she could spend with them.  She also enjoyed country music, dancing with her husband, the mountains and playing cards.

Bernadette was predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Ned Joseph Laramay.  Left to cherish her memory are her loving children Lawrence Laramay, wife Karen, Deborah Richardson, husband Rick, Ned P. Laramay, wife Maggie, Joseph Laramay, wife Victoria, and Lori Dean, husband Jeff, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her sister, Virginia Durant, and a host of family and friends.

A memorial mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1936 Lynnhaven Parkway, in Virginia Beach on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11:00 with Father Matt Kiehl officiating.  Express condolences to the family at  Please consider a donation in Bernadette’s name to Alzheimers Association at
