Bethany Sanborn-Mansfield

April 20, 1971 - July 5, 2020

Bethany Faith Sanborn-Mansfield passed away suddenly on July 5, 2020. Bethany was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts to Janet and Thomas Sanborn on April 20, 1971 (or as a very young Bethany would say, “April twenty-oh”). She was just 49 years old.

Beth grew up in Haverhill, Massachusetts with her 3 sisters and 3 brothers. She attended Haverhill High School and later moved to Virginia where she graduated from CDI College in 1996 as an LPN. She was very passionate about helping others and continued to do so long after her professional practice. She treasured time with her growing family and loved being a mother and grandmother. She sought out beautiful days on the beach and road trips that had no definitive destination. Beth suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2004 but with strength and endurance was able to lead a relatively independent life. Her greatest advice is coined after her name, “Always have Faith.”

Beth is recently preceded in death by her husband William Eric Mansfield, mother Janet Sanborn, and brother Daniel Sanborn.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jessica Tatum & husband Wes Tatum, Brittany Strykowski, and Kylie Mansfield; grandchildren, Avarie Strykowski, Michael Anderson, Marshall Anderson, Lennon Tatum, and Mason Mansfield; Sisters Rachel Dolan, Naomi Morin and husband Mark Morin, and Jeanne Houle and husband John Houle; and brothers; Andrew Sanborn, and Nathan Sanborn.

A celebration of life will be held for Beth on a later date.

Very professional and attentive staff. They care deeply and really work hard to take the stress and burden away. Your focus should be on family and friends and Altmeyer’s attention to detail allows you to do just that. A great group of people to work with!
