Betty Louise Steinfield

February 11, 1932 - January 31, 2016

Betty L. Steinfield, 83, was called home to the Lord on Sunday, January 31, 2016. She resided in Virginia Beach and was a native of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Betty was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who always put others first. She was a longtime member of Kempsville Baptist Church. She loved music, enjoyed singing and playing the piano, and was active in her church choir for many years.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Philip Steinfield of Virginia Beach; daughters Susan Patterson and husband Mike of Virginia Beach, and Karen Bogle and husband Dave of Chesapeake; grandsons David Bogle, Michael Patterson and Matthew Patterson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty’s daughters extend heartfelt gratitude to their father for his dedication to quality of life for their mother during her final years. Family and friends will gather for a graveside service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens at 6309 East Virginia Beach Blvd in Norfolk at 2:00 pm on Thursday February 4, 2016. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be left to the family below.
