NORFOLK – Bonnie L. Ammann, 72, died June 26, 2019. Bonnie was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Eugene Houston Campbell and Thelma Jean Prettyman Campbell. She enjoyed “treasure hunting” at thrift stores and yard sales. Bonnie loved Christmas and Easter or any other reason for having a family get together. She enjoyed sharing dining experiences with her family, whether it be a holiday meal, a glass of wine, or Tasty Cakes and Coca Cola. Bonnie was predeceased, by her brother, Lonnie Campbell and granddaughter, Holly Atkins.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael Ammann; children, Angela Nosay (Neal) of Virginia Beach, Robert Canady of Norfolk, William Canady, Jr. of Peru, Melody Canady of Norfolk, Richard Canady of Yorktown, Lonnie Canady (Ashley) of Hobbsville, NC; former husband, William “Billy Bob” Canady Sr. of Portsmouth; siblings, Debbie Campbell of Baltimore, MD and Larry Campbell (Carolyn) of Havre de Grace, MD; grandchildren, Ashley Rowe (William “CW”) of Gates, NC, Tiffany Atkins of Gates, Brandon Canady of Virginia Beach, Luke Canady of Hobbsville, NC, Kennzie Canady of Hobbsville, NC, Gabriel Canady of Yorktown, Amy Lynn Canady of Peru, Amber Canady of Baltimore, MD, and Michael Canady of Yorktown; great grandchildren, Cadence Rowe, Liam Rowe, ALora Richards, Benjamin Humphrey and Lea Atkins, all of Gates, NC; and a host of other family and friends.
