Calvin M. Spivak

It is with great sadness that the family of Calvin M. Spivak announces his passing on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at the age of 93 years. Calvin will be lovingly remembered by his children, grandchildren, and by his brother and sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by his wife and by his sister.
A funeral service in memory of Calvin will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 9:30 a.m., at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 929 S. Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23322.  Interment will follow at the Albert G. Horton Jr. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, VA 23434.  Those who so desire may make memorial donations to The Blue Card, an organization dedicated to helping elderly Holocaust survivors, located at 171 Madison Avenue, Suite #1405, New York, NY 10016.
