Charles Edward Crowe, of Virginia Beach, entered Eternal Life on July 3, 2016 at the age of 76 years. He was born on April 23, 1940 in Danielsville, Georgia to James Robert Crowe and Nola Mae Crowe. He pursued a vocation as a Navy Master Chief, spending twenty-six years in service to his country.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Willie Ruth Crowe Barbee and Betty Crowe Bennett.
Left to cherish Charles’s memory are his beloved wife Dorothy Crowe; son R. Mark Crowe and wife Beth Graves Crowe; daughter Monica Crowe Vollmer and husband Mick Vollmer; grandchildren Julie Crowe, Kendall Vollmer and Morgan Vollmer; siblings Nolan Crowe, Mary Crowe Whitt, Ray Crowe, Shirley Crowe McElrath, Richard Crowe.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 9 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1396 Lynnhaven Pkwy, Virginia Beach, VA 23453.
The Altmeyer Funeral Home-Southside Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
