Christopher Edward Warren, age 33, was tragically killed in a hit and run accident on May 25, 2021, in Virginia Beach.
Left to cherish his memory are his father and stepmother, Robbie and Debbie Warren; his mother, Star Warren; his step-brothers who he loved like blood brothers, Andy Stassi and Chris Stassi; and his son, Cohen.
He is also survived by his grandfather, Robert Warren; his uncles, Phillip Warren, Tom Warren, Daniel Warren (Rebecca), John Farrell, David Morris (Lisa), and Michael Benoit (Kay); his aunts, Lavonda Hobbs (Bobby), Lorrie Barnes (Buddy), Martha Whitlock (Andy), Tammy Dematti, and Rachel Durham; his nephews, Joshua Wittstruck, Jesse Stassi, and Devon Stassi; his cousins, Robert Warren, Dawn Winnings, Angela Hobbs, Jennifer Holbrook, Mike Thompson, Krystal Fields, Amanda Torres, Kimmy Moore, Ryland Miles, Landon Miles, Ashley Whitlow, Cassy Whitlow, Cindianna Dozier, Aaron Morris, Evan Morris, and Ariah Morris, and Garry Robinson; and many cherished friends.
Chris is pre-deceased by his grandmothers, Dana Warren, Cynthia Farrell, and Jean Warren; and his aunt, Lesa Miles.
Chris was a very talented young man, with exceptional skills in many areas such as woodworking, designing and building custom-made furniture, and welding.  Some of his beautiful pieces of custom-made furniture have been on display in the past at a prominent winery in Italy, where he previously resided with ex-wife, Leah, who was the love of his life.
He was also a very gifted musician and enjoyed playing the guitar.  He was an excellent guitar player, being self-taught, and composed a lot of his own music.  He has played the guitar with bands at several local establishments in the past.
Chris had many inspirations for his future, and with his many talents, he could have realized so many of his hopes and dreams, and more, had he not been tragically taken from this life. He had a heart of gold and loved and cared for others deeply.  Many hearts are broken from his unexpected passing.
Chris had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, which gives the family great comfort in knowing he is now with the Lord and that one day they will be reunited with him.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, at 1pm, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Maestas Chapel, 1801 Baltic Avenue, Virginia Beach.  Pastor Dallas Stamper will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you make a donation to People in Need Organization in Christopher’s name. You can make a donation by clicking on this link to their donation page or by clicking the Donate button below.
Although Chris is no longer by our side, he is forever in our hearts, and his memory will live forever.  Rest easy, Chris, until we meet again.
