Clifton F. Cutrell

February 11, 1938 - April 16, 2021

CHESAPEAKE – Clifton Forge “The Boss Man” Cutrell, Jr., 83, died April 16, 2021.  Cliff was born in Chesapeake to the late Clifton Sr., and Sadie Pearl Watson Cutrell.  He was a veteran having served in the US Army.  Cliff enjoyed fishing, boating, listening to bluegrass music, and going to auctions, but Cliff’s true passion was farming, especially while working with his International Harvester equipment.  He was always a good provider for his family and was respected, well known and liked by all in his “St. Brides” and neighboring communities. Cliff was predeceased by his beloved wife, Hope Cutrell.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Lisa Cutrell of Chesapeake, Ann Marie Cutrell of Seymour, TN, Clifton “Bubby” Cutrell, III of Chesapeake, and Tim Cutrell and his wife Pat, of Lakeland, GA; siblings, Eunice Boyd of Chesapeake, Doris Collins of Suffolk, Shirley Erickson of Aikin, SC, and George Cutrell of Chesapeake; grandchildren, Monica, Eric, Sadie, Tim, Patricia, Dorothy, and Linda; numerous great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends; and his beloved pets and riding buddies, Pee Wee and Bella.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the residence following the service.  Express condolences to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.
