David Watkins

David was born on February 16, 1960 in Norfolk, VA to Floyd Brown Watkins and Joan Clark Harrison. He went home to be with our Lord, after a courageous battle with cancer on February 28, 2019.
He enjoyed reading his bible daily, completing 1,000-piece puzzles, coloring, blowing bubble, and watching game shows. David is a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. His favorite song O Happy Day. He sang as well as played the organ skillfully. David’s favorite restaurant was Applebee’s, which he frequented every birthday. He enjoyed stocking shelves for the commissary in his earlier years. Every Christmas David was sure to grow his beard to show his spirit and favor for Santa.
David is survived by his mother Joan; sister Susan; as well as a few other relatives.
David Watkins will certainly be missed by so many. His outgoing personality, quick humor, and unconditional love will forever be remembered.
