Deborah Kostyal, 57, loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020, after a two-year battle with cancer.
Debbie graduated from Garden High School and went on to Mechanic County Information Technology Center where she earned her degree in nursing as an LPN. Debbie worked for many years at the Consulate of Williamsburg before her illness.
Debbie loved to garden and listen to music. She always shared her love with animals, children, or any person she ever came in contact with.
Debbie always had a giving heart and cared for others. Her wishes were that her body is donated to Anatomy Gifts Registry so that, even in death, she could help others. She was known to have the biggest heart on the planet.
Debbie will forever be cherished by many and missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mavis Wilson.
Debbie leaves behind her loving husband of 34 years, Wayne Kostyal; brother Adam Wilson; Daughters, Jessica and Beverly Kostyal; Stepson, Stephen Kostyal; and daughter-in-law, Ivy Gladstone, and many other unofficial daughters, sons, and grandchildren by heart.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
