Debbie Thompson was born on September 8, 1953 in York, PA to Claire and Jeanne Snyder. She enjoyed engaging in all types of arts and crafts throughout her life including crocheting, macrame, ceramics, cross-stitch and recently, diamond painting. She also loved collecting lighthouses and anything lighthouse related. When Debbie wasn’t home with her family, she enjoyed time with her work family. She spent 33 years at the Fort Eustis Commissary and recently retired. Debbie passed away at home on Sunday, March 1, 2020. She is survived by her four children, Chris, Angel (Langston), Tiana and Anthony; 13 grandchildren, Lavina, Menico, Malike, DeVonte, Lyric, Nevaeh, Isaac, Elijah, Naomi, Noam, Shamir, Miadah, and Kiyshaan; her mother, 2 sisters and 1 brother. She was predeceased by her father, Claire and her granddaughter, Bethany Maes.
