Denis Fred Snead

March 7, 1971 - October 23, 2020

Denis “Denny” passed away suddenly in a motor vehicle accident on Friday October 23, 2020 and will be missed by all those who experienced his radiant smile.  Denis leaves behind his loving parents Linda and Denis Whitaker of Volga, WV;  beloved sister, Denise and husband Joe Dixon of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; his niece who he loved dearly, Isabella Somers and fiancé Anthony Fiorentino, and his great nephew Anthony M. Fiorentino of Brigantine, NJ.  He leaves behind his cousins Tischa Satterfield of WV, Phyllis Lilley of NC, Tonya Wendler of AZ, and companion, Annette Finwood of Norfolk, VA.  Denis also leaves behind his faithful fur-baby, Milo, who will be loved and spoiled by family and friends.

Denis was the sole owner of Creative Concepts Design Construction Company and brought a level of professionalism and quality of work to many in the Virginia Beach area.  Denis was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served at the 177th Fighter Wing in Pomona, NJ.  He also found time to enjoy golfing, fishing, or anything adventurous. Denis was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and was so happy to finally see them win a Super Bowl in 2018.

Denis was a man with a wild heart who also displayed amazing grace and loved his family and friends dearly. Denis’s many friends throughout the East Coast will miss his zest for life and his ability to light up the room with his loving and witty personality.  He would want all those affected by his passing to remember his enthusiasm for life and live life to the fullest each and every day.

His wishes were to be cremated and not have any services which will be adhered to.  There will be a gathering of a celebration of life at a later date where friends and family will be able to join together.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to your local Animal Shelter in Denis’s name.
