Don. When we first moved in, you immediately made us feel like your neighbors. You looked out for us in so many ways and you were always so kind to our children. We miss you so much. Lately, as I pull into our driveway, I find myself stopping to stare at the spot you used to sit at on your porch. We will miss seeing you there.

I met and served with Don on USS TOLEDO. He was a good shipmate and friend. We kept in contact through fantasy football for over 10 years. He had a great outlook on life. My fondest memory is how he would find the humor in all situations, no matter how grim. Prayers of peace and comfort for family and friends.

Oh Don, dear friend and great neighbor! We could always count on you if we needed help. Things like bbqs in your backyard during power outages and holidays consisting of bottles of champagne left on our door step and candy delivered in our living room.
We will miss hearing you say “y’all be good” after our almost daily cul-de-sac chats. You will forever be in our hearts! We love you and miss you so much!

Don and I were coworkers and he became a good friend. He always spoke very lovingly of his wife and daughter. I am truly blessed to have gotten to know him over the past 4 years. I can't imagine your loss, but he will be missed by me as well on a different level. Until we meet again in Valhalla, rest your oars brother, we have the watch.
