Donald Sydney Smith of Virginia Beach passed away on September 23, 2020 at the age of 66. He was a considerate, cherishing man. He could hold conversations for hours and leave impressions on anyone who he had come across. Making the biggest discussion out of the smallest topic was his specialty. He had a strong dedication to his employment. Don started off in the Army, leaving after a few years. Donald continued his work force through the Navy for a strong 20 years, embarking on beautiful journeys around the world. After that, he pursued a truck driving job which continued his countless stories and adventures. Employing as a security guard was his last dedication in the employment field.
Donald loved life and loved making memories with his family. He enjoyed drinking interesting flavors of soda, watching old western movies, listening to the blues, collecting an unimaginable amount of CDs, sharing stories of his own, bonding with his dog Bella, and drinking milkshakes. Tragically, Donald’s adventures came to an end on September 23, 2020 during a short but strong battle with cancer.
He will be forever loved.
