Douglas Gilbert, 73, of Virginia Beach passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Signature Healthcare of Norfolk. He worked as a mechanic for the City of Virginia Beach for many years. He lived a simple life and was a great friend to all those that knew him. Friends are kindly asking that a donation be made to his memorial fund to assist the family with the financial burdens they are will be facing in the weeks and months ahead.
