Dear Diane, We were saddened to open Saturday’s newspaper and learn of the untimely death of Harvey. The picture posted was so typical of Harvey who always appeared to us as a smiling, happy and pleasant person. We always enjoyed being with you both though we haven’t had the opportunity recently. I know that the next few months will be difficult for you and your family and that you never fully recover from your loss but at least you have the comfort of your sons, Brian and Andrew, nearby to help you through these difficult times. For the next few weeks you will have much a lot of company but we hope to see you when the post-funeral activities subside. To you and your sons we extend our sincerest and most heartfelt condolences on your loss. Sincerely, May Scott and David

I was saddened by the death of your father and husband, Harvey. I remember Harvey with great fondness. God has gained a wonderful and beloved angel among his midst. His memory will be a legacy for all of you to cherish with great pride. He was truly a humble and great servant of his Almighty. May you, Diane, Brian, and Andrew, find the strength and power to overcome this very tragic loss. You are all in my mind and prayers during this time of grief.
