Edna Moore Holloman, of Wilson, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the age of 93 years. She was born on August 23, 1923 to the late Mark H. Moore, Sr. and the late Marcia (formerly Oden) Moore. She worked for 33 years as a manager for Western Union.
In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow C. Holloman and her sister Marcia Cutler.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother Horace G. Moore; brother Mark H. Moore, Jr.; and sister Mary M. Jackson. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service to celebrate Edna’s memory will held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Forest Lawn Cemetery (8100 Granby St. Norfolk, VA) at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the First Baptist Church of Norfolk.

I am sadden to learn that you’re mourning the loss of your dear Edna, it saddens our loving God even more. He views death as an enemy (1 Cor. 15:26) and He has promised that he will soon “swallow up death forever” and “wipe away the tears from all faces” (Isaiah 25:8). Please accept my condolences at this most distressing time.
