Ed Basile was one of the finest people I ever met. Intelligent, witty, and great to be around. I miss the times we had there at Flight Intl, and Newport News, VA. Ed had a heart of gold, and was a friend to many.

I never got the Fiat back on the road Ed. I think the radio is still stashed somewhere below. However, the puppy (Bear) we got from you and Marg lived with us for 17 years. That more than made up for the car. To you Sailor, I salute you and thank you for your service. May you now have fair winds and calm seas forever! To Marg and all of the family, we send our deepest condolences and pray for all of you, for your peace.

Ed was one of the best Learjet technicians and troubleshooters at Flight International. There wasn't anything that Ed couldn't do and it was truly a pleasure to work beside him at Flt Int. He's truly missed but will never be forgotten. Our condolences and prayers to the Basile Family.
