Eddie was such an adorable little boy when I first met him in Philly Navy housing when my parents lived next door to the Banos. My family stayed very close with the Banos through all these (50) years since and my Mom and Rose are still very close friends. I was the older college girl home for the summer but sure loved spending time playing with Eddie, Cindy and Lennie, even babysitting; but I do think my younger sisters did most of that. Later I was happy to reconnect with the Banos and learn about Eddie’s love of baseball, and I often saw him at a Tides game at Harbor Park. My love is with you Rose, Cindy and Lennie, and Eddie’s Angie and Maddie. God bless and keep you all safe and help you get through this sadness, remembering all the wonderful times you had with your son, brother, husband, father. He was a great man and we will all miss him a lot. Mom sends her love, as do my five sisters. Peace be with you. God bless you.
