Elaine Marie Ogden, 65, stepped into eternity on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in Virginia Beach, Virginia at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital. Elaine was born July 10, 1952 to Viola Goudas McGlaughlin in Manchester, New Hampshire. She was loved and adopted by Calvin Leonard McGlaughlin.
Elaine desired and found her independence in Jacksonville, Florida, where she met and married her husband Roger Douglas Ogden. Elaine’s family was everything to her; in her final days, she longed to be near her children and grandchildren. She was a petite night owl and a spit-fire who helped take care of her mother. Elaine was also an avid Blake Shelton fan and loved playing games on the computer.
Elaine was predeceased by her husband Roger Douglas Ogden and father Calvin Leonard McGlaughlin. Left to cherish her memory are her mom Viola Goudas McGlaughlin; daughters Mary Anne Garrett-St. Cyr (Jacob) and Audrey Faye Lasserre (Patrick); grandchildren Paul Richard Garrett, Vanessa Marie Myers, Alexander Patrick Lasserre, Joshua Jean Lasserre, Laura Faye Garrett, and Rebekah Gleanne Lasserre; sister Margaret McKirdy (Paul, Sr.) and brother James McGlaughlin (Joy); and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and extended family & friends.
