08/08/1978 - 01/01/2021

Elinor Cannon King, 42, of Virginia Beach, Virginia is at peace with the Lord. She passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2021 while in Colorado.  Elinor was born to Tim and Pam Cannon of Virginia Beach. She was a graduate of Princess Anne High School and later became a midwife.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Morey, Arriana and Connor; her husband, Jimmy King; her brothers, Tim Cannon Jr. (Kathy) and Jeffery Cannon. Elinor had many special aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.
Along with her artistic ability, Elinor liked to write poetry. She was a beautiful ballet and modern dancer which she studied for 12 years. She loved nature and music to the fullest.  Elinor went through life a Free Bird. One of her favorite songs was Free Bird. Elinor leaves behind a quote she would say “Live, Love and Laugh”
Memorial Services are being planned at a later date with Pastor Anders of Emmanuel Lutheran Church officiating.
Due to a number of circumstances beyond the family’s control, they were emotionally and financially unprepared to deal with this unexpected loss. Friends of the family are asking for your support to contribute to her memorial fund so that her loved ones will have the resources necessary to bring her back home to Virginia and lay her to rest.  Please click the link below to send your donation.
