Family members who will lovingly remember Andi’s many gifts, are her only daughter, Andrea Christy Driscoll,  husband J. Stuart Driscoll of Chesapeake, Va., her  granddaughters, Victoria Marie Driscoll Dzieman, husband Jonathan Dzieman, residing in New Mexico, and Christy Anna Driscoll McFie, husband, Samuel McFie, residing in Norfolk, VA and Andi’s precious great grandchildren, Aurora Rose Dzieman, Selena Marie Dzieman, Juliana Esther Dzieman, Jonathan James Patrick Dzieman, and Rowan Grant Rivers Dzieman.
In addition, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Benjamin J. Heitmann, Jr. (Jay), and Frederick Charles Heitmann, (Freddy), as well as her half-sister, Virginia McCollough.  Andi also leaves behind her half-sister, Judy Ann McCollough Petersen, husband Fred Petersen, of Anaheim, California, along with many other family members and friends.
Andi was a native of Norfolk, VA, and graduated from Maury High School, June of 1951. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church on Granby Street, Norfolk, since birth and transferred her membership to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Virginia Beach, in the 1960’s where she was a current member.  She was fascinated with the genealogy of her family and the history of Norfolk.  She was on the alter guild for years and love decorating her church, coinciding with the church calendar. Andi possessed a great many talent for drawing and painting, being part of many art groups, as well as sewing, needle point, and knitting etc.  She enjoyed traveling to Europe with many friends and just enjoyed life and the people around her.

Dear Candi, So very sorry for your loss. I did not know Andi in HS, really began to know and appreciate her laughter, smiling face and the many funny stories when I first encountered her during the monthly Maury luncheons. She truly was a special person.
