I will miss Freddie in so many ways. He was the big brother that protected me when I was young, help guide me when I was making choices in life. We would talk on the phone on the week-ends, but I would sometime call during the week just because I wanted to talk and he would ask if everything was okay first thing before I could say a word. Even if we didn’t get to see each other as much as we would have liked, he did get to come out to Texas in October to see us. We went to see him in March of this year and I am so glad we got to be with him and see his kids and grandkids, and great grandkids, he was so proud of them and loved so them much. We will miss Freddie everyday and we loved him so much and he knew it.

Wanted to let Uncle Freddie’s family and friends know how much he will be missed. I’ll miss the weekend phone calls and the gruff voice that hid a kind heart. A man that would sit down with a little girl and watch The Wizard of Oz just because she should see it; back when Grandma & Grandpa Duncan only got a couple of TV channels by way of the antennae on the roof. I enjoyed his stories of the sea and the places he traveled. I know Mom (Martha Sue) and Uncle Durden will miss their big brother. I know that the entire family will miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone.

Love, Heather Hunnicutt
