George Schofield Seltzer III

October 4, 1948 - July 8, 2020

George Schofield Seltzer the III, 71, a prolific musician, craftsman, father and grandfather, died Wednesday, July 8th at Virginia Beach General. He lived in Virginia Beach the majority of his life.

Many in the VB area are familiar with George’s enthusiasm for creating and playing music, and his dedication to living on and repairing boats. He will be remembered for his big heart and stubbornness, his propensity toward scooters, and caring for elderly animals.

Surviving are his son, Micah; daughters, Kara and Leah; and three grandchildren. He was the son of the late George Schofield Seltzer Jr. and Eugenia Simpson Brunhouse Seltzer.
