Gertrude Nellian "Trudy" Clark

January 15, 1935 - August 17, 2019

Gertrude Nellian Clark, affectionately known as “Trudy”, slipped away in her sleep on August 17, 2019. She was born on January 15, 1935 in Marblehead, Massachusetts.

Trudy is preceded in death by her parents William and Hazel Brown and her four brothers.

She is survived by her true love and husband of 64 years, Allan Clark of VA Beach; daughter Doreen Bradford of VA Beach; grandchildren Pamela Pippen (Elliot) of VA Beach, Kimberly Pollard (Robert) Chesapeake, and Amy Cook (Daniel) of Richmond; great grandchildren Caitlyn, Emily, and Isabella Gray, Robert III and Alexandria Pollard.

Trudy was a loving wife, mother and MeMa. Her memory will be cherished by many and she will be forever loved.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 6-9pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home 5033 Rouse Dr. VA Beach, VA 23462.

There will be a memorial service for Trudy on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 7pm at Heritage United Methodist Church 815 Baker Rd. VA Beach. Rev. Michelle Louk will be presiding.
