After staying strong for so long this wonderful man finally found his way to Heaven on Monday, January 11, 2021. His intellect was only rivaled by his compassion and he will forever be remembered as a man who always thought of others before himself. In these turbulent times he remained a rock for so many to hold on to and stood as a beacon, illuminating those around him so that they may find their way. Unquestionably he was a loving husband, a wonderful father, and an amazing PopPop who leaves behind so many family members and friends who will undoubtedly miss him. His many wisdoms will resonate through all who knew him for years to come. He loved God and he loved his country and it was his wish to be properly interred with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery. Because of these trying times, we will not be composing a gathering. Instead, we ask that family and friends celebrate his life in your own way. Preferably outside in the sun with a warm cup of coffee for him. Reach out to one another, share stories, hug your loved ones close by, and always remember to tell those you love how much you care. His love isn’t over, and his light continues shining. In the words of this great man, “Get your hat and coat, we got big doin’s.”
